Our Story
Mara Wine & Co was created by Lee Vevere, Taylah Kennedy and Alex Williams. Three partners with a shared love of thoughtful gifting, good wine and creating something a little more personal.
From the beginning, we have been hands-on with every part of the business. From choosing the products and creating our hamper ideas, to building our website, photographing our range and preparing each order, Mara Wine & Co has been built by us from the ground up.
A more thoughtful way to gift
Our hampers are handcrafted and carefully packed from our own home, rather than mass-produced or prepared in a large warehouse. Every order is personally put together with care and attention to the little details, because we want each hamper to feel special from the moment it is opened.
One of the biggest reasons we started Mara Wine & Co was because we felt that so many hampers were filled with items that looked good in the box but were not necessarily things people would actually use. We wanted to create something different — gifts that are practical, enjoyable and genuinely worth receiving.
Our wines are proudly supplied from Gledswood Homestead & Winery, allowing us to include wines that feel a little more special than something you would simply pick up off the supermarket shelf. Supporting a local winery is something we are proud of and is an important part of the kind of business we want Mara Wine & Co to be.
